2026 Select Coaching Application

All coaching applications must be submitted by August 15, 2025 to be considered for the position.

The head coach and assistant coach selection process is a decision that impacts players in their development, growth and their enjoyment of the game. It also impacts the families of these players, the community and the image and reputation of West Mountain Baseball Association and its members. Coaches are required to meet and support the Association’s expectations as set out below, in addition to complying with the WMBA Code of Conduct and by-laws. Persons interested in applying for a coaching position should consider these before submitting their application:

1. All coaches must have a Police Vulnerable Sector Check done
2. All coaches must be NCCP certified or willing to obtain NCCP Certification appropriate for the level they are applying to coach (Certification is at the cost of the applicant)

Coaching positions will be awarded based on the following:

1. application
2. coaching history
3. reference check
4. interview (if necessary)
